The Schlumbergera Truncata aka Holiday cactus is native to the coastal mountains of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and grows on trees and rocks at high altitudes. This Cactus is called for various Holidays as depending on its variety, it blooms beautiful, tubular red, pink or white flowers around the Holidays (between November to January). This Cactus is a perfect ornamental plant for any home, garden or office. Pots sold separately.
Water Tolerance: Water once a week (preferably on schedule). Allow the soil to be dry between waterings. Do not overwater as too much moisture will lead to root rot.
Soil: Enjoys gritty succulent potting soil. Feed during the growing season (winter to spring) by adding new soil. If you grow them in containers, repot them with fresh potting soil every 2 -3 years.
