The Euphorbia Tirucalli 'Pencil Plant' or 'Fire Sticks' is a shrub that has leafless branches. The branches are fleshy and green in color. The tree can grow up to 23 feet tall. They grow small yellow flowers at the end of their branches. The inside of the branches contain a milky, toxic sap that can irritate the skin. Pots sold separately.
Care Instructions:
Light Preference:Enjoys indirect bright light and full sun up to 6 hours, except in summer days, when partial shade is recommended.
Water Tolerance: Water once a week (preferably on schedule). Allow the soil to be dry between waterings. Do not overwater as too much moisture will lead to root rot.
Soil: Enjoys gritty succulent potting soil. Feed early Spring by adding new soil. If you grow them in containers, repot them with fresh potting soil every 2-3 years.
