The Hildewintera Colademononis aka Monkey's Tail is a rare cactus that grows upright when young and gradually begins to trail as it ages. It has soft white spines that resemble and feel like fur that covers the entire cactus and is a light green color underneath. Many people hang these cacti due to their trailing nature.
Care Instructions:
Light Preference: Enjoys indirect sunlight.
Water Tolerance: Water once a week (preferably on schedule). Allow the soil to be dry between waterings. Do not overwater as too much moisture will lead to root rot.
Soil: Enjoys gritty succulent potting soil. Feed during the growing season (winter to spring) by adding new soil. If you grow them in containers, repot them with fresh potting soil every 2-3 years.
